Open Question: lacking qualifications and experience recent grad, i feel worthless and belittled because i am young?

Ok well I am a recent college grad. I have a Bachelors in Management and Marketing. I graduated like 6 months ago - I have worked as Assitant Manager for about 4 years in a restaurant - I have about a year of experience in sales - About 3 or more years of experience with customer service - Internship in Market Research and Analysis - Internship in Management - Summer job (like 4 months) as Bank Teller - computer skills - language skills (Arabic, French and of course English) I am good with people, creative, kind, outgoing, energetic... i really have no idea what to do with my life at this point. I am still assistant manager but in a different restaurant. I am tired of it. I don't like the environment. I want something more challenging. Which jobs can one do with a Bachelors and such insignificant experience ? I need to get my foot in the door. I feel really lost. I did search but for everything you have to have some solid experience at least 2-5 years... The only thing I would be able to get in Assistant manager in a restaurant or a store. What else can i do ? more

Open Question: What will a foreclosure do to my husbands credit when his name is not on the loan or title?

I bought this small house before we were married, We lived there for a little while after we were married and then had a son. We decieded we needed a bigger home so we rented a 3 bdrm home. My sister-in-law rented the home I own. Now she is about to move out. My husband is about to lose his job. We will not be able to afford to make the house payment and pay rent in the larger home. Moving back to the smaller home is not an option. We can not afford to make improvements to the home to sell it. I'd like to consider a short sale but I'm not sure how to go about it. We are current on the mortgage right now but once my husband loses his job we probably won't be able to afford the house payment. We like not to rent it out again either and just be able to get rid of it. more

Resolved Question: whats the big deal with tipping waiters?

I mean why?? thats their job right? and getting paid for it correct? it's a form of commission but do you tip the people who are trying to make commission at a sales store?? Why tip someone who waits on you? take your order get your food and bring it to you. I much rather tip the cooks for cooking the food correctly and having to stand all day in front of a stove in a hot kitchen. My very first job when I was 16 was cleaning restrooms at a restaurant. Cleaning peoples C..r.ap all day while the pretty waiters get all the tips. But maybe theres something I'm missing?? I'd really like to know. I don't tip. Unless a waiter does a exceptional job. I just don't see why I'm going to give my hard earned money to someone who walks back and fourth a few times. If pay is that bad why don't we tip other people who get paid bad?? I just don't get it... all my friends tip and i don't. I don't feel ashamed I much rather give my mom 10 bucks so she can get something for herself cuz I worked for that money. more

Resolved Question: can a company take away base pay for sales job?

I just started a sales job 2 weeks ago selling advertising space for a yellow book similar to Verizon. They took away my base pay today and said I'd have to work on commission. I signed a contract saying that I was entitiled to my base pay of $2000 after 23 working days. Now my boss is going to pay me for the 9 days I worked and I have to work on commission if I want the job. I don't know anyone in the right mind that would do this. What can I do? Open Question: How can I make easy money at fourteen?

My parents won't let me get a job, won't let me babysit, won't let me mow lawns, and will do absolutely anything to PREVENT me from getting money. It's because I want a guinea pig; but if I get money ON MY OWN and buy it ON MY OWN, then they wouldn't say no because I'd have all the responsibility. They just don't want me to get the money so that I don't waste my time with a guinea pig, but I wanna prove to them I'm responsible. How do I make money without having to do jobs that require my parents' permission; (mowing other people's lawns, babysitting kids, or washing cars). oh & I don't wanna risk giving my address out on the internet for people to send me checks; so is there something I can do? Idk if I can do a garage sale either cause my parents would have to know; there must be SOME wayyy.. I can't do things that involve me asking my parents for permission Helppppp. I need 170 dollars; 100 at the least. more

Open Question: Do businesses still buy advertisement in Yellow Pages?

Just got a job 2 weeks ago for the Jewish Yellow Pages. I have been calling print shops as assigned and have gone to 10 meetings. Out of these 10 meetings I got 1 sale which was just a Bold Listing but now the owner has cancelled. This makes me look so bad. Now my boss is taking away my base pay and I have to rely on commission. I know this morally and ethically wrong since I am trying but I figure I will work here until I find another job.Bottom Line::Do companies want to buy advertisement space in Jewish Yellow Pages? Its hard because most people aren't Jewish and use that as an excuse or say they have a website and rely on online advertising not Yellow Pages. Any advice would help me!!! Thank you. more

Open Question: How to handle problems and stress in life?

I feel like I need some help with some problems. I am 22 years old TRYING to survive in this awful economy. I work fulltime, I have credit card bills from paying for books and school stuff, I have insurance, cell phone, car payment you name it. I feel like I have the bills of a 30 year old with 3 or 4 kids. The problem is I don't know how to cope with it, I don't have great parents because of there addiction to gambling so i've taught myself how to manage money and the importance of keeping good credit since my parents obviously didn't feel that was a smart thing to do considering they gambled themselves into bankruptcy. I am working fulltime clearing about 400 a week. I have put school on hold for right now because I have to do it all on my own. I have about 700 in bills monthly however that doesn't include gas, food, etc. I don't shop because I make sure my bills are always paid. Now i'm to the point to where I need to get an apartment because I can't deal with my parents anymore. How can I find a better job to where I can afford that? I have so much experience, human resources, legal secretary, management, leasing, sales and collections, receptionist, secretary, i've done all that. I feel like i'm under paid now maybe that's just Kentucky for you. I realize I should be happy to even have a job the way the economy is but my stress level is way too high. My boyfriend on the other hand is 26 was given a house to live in and his parents pay all the expenses so that he can finish school and he works part time making about 180, he only has to worry about a cell phone bill which to me thats not much of a bill. I used to live with him and it was so much easier then because he lives about 10 minutes from my job while my parents are 50 miles one way from my job. He doesn't want to live together right now because we did move way to fast in the beginning wound up breaking up and now that were back together our relationship is awesome, but I do miss living there with him more then anything, I feel like he's the only person I have he's like my bestfriend and boyfriend all in one. I do stay with him 3-4 times during the week but those other days I spend with my parents and I just can't handle it anymore. My mom will ask me for money for her gambling problem and gets mad when I won't give her that. I am taking some left over anti dep. from my doctor from last year because I get stressed to the point that I just cry. I am very independent however i'd give anything to of been able to have everything paid for and just given to me like my boyfriend. I can't afford an apartment right now unless I find a better paying job. Any help?? more

Open Question: should i report to fsa?

hello, yesterday i started a new job (which i havnt returned to) as there were so many concerns i had with the company. Now the one i was mostly concerned with was regards to the regulation by the fsa. The company sells mobile phone contracts and they are all supplied with the first months insurance free of charge. If a customer asked for it to be removed before it was sent then we were advised to tell them that it couldnt be done but they could cancel as soon as they got it. The area i was concerned with was that there were many 16 year old school leavers working there. Now as far as im aware you have to be over 18 years old to sell an insurance product? am i wrong? now i dont know if they put this insurance on with every sale so that they can get around the fact that 16 year olds are not selling insurance however the way i see it is that if it cannot be removed at point of sale customers may ask questions about the policy which i dont legally think a 16 year old would be allowed to comment on? i am considering raising this to fsa so just wanted to check my facts before i contacted them as i believe this to be an illegal practice. more

Resolved Question: What kind of career should I have?

As of right now, I'm a journalism major in my second year of college. I picked it because I really didn't know what else to choose at the time. I don't know if it's a right fit for me. I'm trying to decide on a career that I would fit in well with, make decent money ($40K+ a year) and can support a family on. I was going to list some of my attributes, and I would like for people to give their honest opinions on what would be a good fit for me. -I like working with people, but I hate being tied down in a team setting. -I'm used to dealing with pressure, but I don't really thrive in it like some do. -I can speak English, Japanese (fluently), and French (semi-fluently). -I don't think in linear fashion, and my thoughts tend to be sporadic. -I'm horrible with math and numbers, but I can come up with creative solutions for almost any problem. Basically, I tend to think with my right brain more. -I like jobs where I'm using more of my brain, and less physical activities. -I'm extremely motivated when I'm inspired or have external motivation -I can type at 60+ wpm -I'm great at coming up with different scenarios or approaching problems from new angles. -I have great sales and relations skills, but I hate being in a performance-pay based environment. I prefer salaried positions. So what does everyone think? Your input is much appreciated! more

Resolved Question: How Do I Break Out of Losersville?

I am not a 27 year old virgin. I do not live with my parents. I make a living which is, by the standards of the metropolitan area I reside in, very healthy. I say this to put my situation into perspective... Despite graduating from college with high marks, I am stuck in a dead end job with no realistic chance of promotion (financial services related). My job band is low, and I cannot, by any stretch of the imagination, call myself a "professional". As a result of a combination of bad luck and personal mistakes, my resume is...spotty. The recent financial crisis has underscored how terribly low I am on the totem pole. As we approach an improvement in the economic climate, I want to change this situation, I am incredibly hard working, relatively intelligent and and charismatic when I need to be. I've never managed to make the swing from having my bosses regard me as "friendly" and "trustworthy" to a trusted friend, and I feel this has slowed chances of career advancement. Overall, I actually do a terrible job of impression management, which is ironic given that I work in, and exceed at sales. I want to change careers entirely, or advance within my field. The latter option is unlikely, I work for a company where memories are longer than I consider reasonable. A minor unprofessional instance from two years and three promotions in the past was cited at a recent interview for a promotion, and I suspect that I've made mistakes I will never live down. This seems to be the norm for my industry, and I've worked for most of the major names, limiting the options for changing companies. This leaves me with the option of changing careers entirely. Starting over at the bottom in a new field would be difficult given my age (27) and I'm not certain I could afford to drop down to whatever the entry level wage is even if I could get hired on in another field. Basically, I'd need to segue into something else at a relatively advanced level. Does anybody have any suggestions? Currently, the best I've been able to consider is to return to graduate school, obtain an MBA and bury a few years on my resume while I'm working my way through school, emerging with a credible skill and an explanation as to why I was stagnant in my current position. This sounds like a hassle and I'm not certain that an MBA will pay off or that I won't experience the same issues elsewhere. Does anyone else have any better suggestions? more

Open Question: What is the legitimacy of Vector Marketing's Cutco "Sales Rep" position?

Hello, my name is Adriana. Immediately following my high school graduation, I received a flyer for Vector Marketing, so I figured I would give it a shot, and being that I plan on majoring in Fashion Merchandising in college, it seemed like a very solid fit, and so I was pleased with the opportunity. Now, please excuse me, for I tend to be very, very long-winded, but I want to be as concise as possible. I set up an interview and eventually found myself sitting in a room with about 10 other individuals shooting for the same "Sales Rep" job with Vector Marketing. I was excited, at first, because I had no idea what the job entailed or what I would be selling. However, very quickly, I learned that I would potentially be selling kitchen knives, utensils, garden tools, etc. Shocking. Interesting... The "instructor", per se, walked us through a demo of a majority of the Cutco products. The shears cut a penny, a knife cut a rope, and another knife cut a piece of leather. Fantastic. I was very antsy about the job from the beginning, because I saw a handful of imbeciles who were asked to stay for the second part of the interview. And so I began to think that something was askew, especially since the instructor was boasting about how only the "best of the best" get hired. Well, the instructor rambled on for a good two hours. I went home, and got a call saying that I got a job. Hoorah? I guess. I wrote down the days for my training, and when those days came, I had no idea what I was in for. I was actually mildly impressed by the Cutco products, surprisingly. But I kept a level head the entire time, and tried not to build any of the products up too much. I realized that there was something amiss when the instructor asked for pennies made after 1987 because the new pennies were "easier to cut" because of the copper addition. And when he asked everyone to bring in a credit card/debit card/check/money order/payment plan/loan for the demo kit, totaling in the amount of $144, I became extremely skeptical. Now, I'm all for working hard and doing my best to achieve success, but this job in its entirety seems like a pile of rubbish and garbage. It seems to be a very sneaky and nonchalant scam, and I feel disappointed that I spent a combined 11 hours over two days training for the job learning about knives. I kept coming back, though, after hearing the stories of sales reps who had made thousands of dollars in income, and actually getting to meet them and converse with them and even knowing a few of them as alumni of my high school gave me some genuine form of justice. However, I'm not quite sure about it. It seems like a scam. It also seems like it's slightly real. It should also be mentioned that the instructors/managers are very quick to praise a sales rep in training for doing something that isn't even remotely worthy of praise. They shower everyone in praise for filling in a blank word in a sentence, or answering a question correctly that has an infinite amount of answers. Also, their "key staff" deal wasn't doing much for me. I was asked to stay each time after practice, and all it was, was an extra 10 minutes of praise and flattery. I'm just at a loss of what to think. It seems like a trash job. I don't know anyone who would want to buy knives, especially in this economy. I can not feel good about myself knowing that I might be advertising cutlery and kitchen products to my family and friends while knowing about the shape the economy is in. I feel like this is precisely like cold-calling/door-to-door/telemarketing, only you're required to talk to your family and friends first. However, once that circle is broken, the "recommendations" list basically turns into a world of strangers you don't know who you have to try and sell knives to. It's telemarketing with a family-oriented start. Yes? I need some guidance, here. Really. Please share your experience with Vector Marketing/Cutco, especially if your input is excitingly fresh.I need a Mac for college. I need a pair of Marc Jacobs boots for the fall. I need a new wardrobe for going out on my college weekends. And I need money to put in the bank for security. But I don't know if this is how I can appropriately earn it. Enlighten me. more

Resolved Question: Job ideas for a 13 year old girl?

Hey I'm looking for a summer job. I want to babysit with my friend but I don't know anybody to babysit for and neither does she. How could I advertise to babysit? Also, what are some other job ideas? I sell jewelry at my neighbor's garage sales, but that usually doesn't bring in much money. I would be interested in walking dogs or picking up dog poop for people. Once again, I'm not sure how to advertise. Thanks for your time and ideas! more

Open Question: Is there as much of a push for sales at a credit union as there is at a bank?

I'm currently a teller at a regional bank, and we're expected to make referrals to get in new money and new customers. I love everything about my job except the push for sales results. I've heard that there is much less of a push for sales at a credit union. Is this true? Do credit union employees get paid less than bank employees? more

Open Question: I don't play the lottery, but is buying lottery tickets really sin?

As a Christian I'm supposed to live by faith and not by mere chance. This is the whole premise behind gambling being sin. But isn't there a lot of things that are also based on mere chance that fellow Christians engage in everyday, such as investing in a 401k, starting a business, etc? I tried selling insurance for about two years. I spent money getting my insurance license, filling up my truck with gas to go cold calling in hopes of making insurance sales. The insurance field is a saturated market. Insurance companies mass hire. So every Tom, Dick, and Harry who finds themselves unemployed and can pass a background check tries their hand at selling insurance. I would walk into a business only to find out I was the fifth agent they had seen that week and it would've only been Wednesday. Because of this saturation I wasn't able to succeed. I kept riding my insurance job out in hopes of things getting better. Consequently, I went into "crazy" debt before I finally got smart and cut my losses and moved on. If you use the same logic behind lottery tickets being a sin, didn't I also commit sin buy taking a commissioned based sales job? Again, I don't gamble because I feel it's risking something I did work for in hopes of getting something I didn't work for. more

Open Question: I need lots of advice... please help?

Ok guys. So I am fifteen years old and have been hooked on horses all my life, been working around horses for three years, and been riding horses for two years. I would absolutely love to own a horse someday, but I know now is not the time because we simply can not afford one. I have been searching sites for horses for sale (just dreaming and for fun haha) and have been looking at leases. I've found a few free leases where I would simply have to pay for board, and feed and of course any surprise, horrible vet bills that could possibly come up. These leases are mainly greaet horses with owners going off to college and wanting another great person to love and exersise their horse while they're away. There is a barn that is actually a thirty second drive from my house that is rough board (turn out & feed, turn in & feed) that costs 350 a month. I am already there practically every single day for at least three hours just finding things to do, riding, and volunteering in the therapeudic program. I need advice about making the money, and how much money is enough of a base to finally decide to lease a horse. My parents are fully supportive and I am sure would try their hardest to chip in with as much as they can, but I would feel better if at least 85% of the expenses were on me. I would never get a horse without being fully prepared, I am just asking when people thing I would be FINANCIALLY fully prepared. I am a confident intermidiate rider and am working with a trainer and would get a horse that knows most his stuff anyways :] Do people have job suggestions? Any teens that help work off their horses? I was thinking Dunkin Donuts, and other fast food places because I need them to hire at the age of fifteen or sixteen. Does anyone know how many hours and days a week they hire? Again, I am looking for a good place to save up, and eventually save enough up for a lease. Specific jobs (not jobs like babysit, work at barn, stuff like that, because I DO those jobs already!) I definitely want to at least be leasing a horse within two years. Soo, any advice, suggestions, personal experiences, and such that have to do with y little 'plan'? Anything would be appretiated, thank you! SORRY FOR THE LENGTH (there was lots to go over and as :] ) more

Open Question: Should I buy this Eagle Talon?

Ok I'm 15 and want to buy my first car and I found a 1993 Eagle Talon on sale for $350 which is how much I currently have. The body and interior are in good shape, but the man selling the car said the engine needs so minor work. He also said he wasn't really a mechanic. So he could be wrong and the engine would need more work done to it. The car has over 200,000 miles and I don't have a real job to save up money and fix it up. In addition to that it's the DL model with a 92-horsepower 1.8 L engine (4G37). So should I buy. more

Resolved Question: How to make money Quickly?

I'm not old enough to get a real job and I'm trying to make $500. I know it sounds impossible but I'm going to try. Does anyone know how i could get a little bit of money without getting a real job. I'm planning on having a yard sale with my friend but other than that any ideas? I don't want to get the money in a short amount of time maybe in like a year or less. I don't want to get it off the internet either. more

Open Question: Best job ever? Worst job ever?

What was your best and/or worst job to date? Example of why it was best or worst, or just a funny anecdote if that's all you have. My best: current job as a receptionist/sales admin at an aviation parts supplier. It's best so far because the people I work with are awesome. My worst: tied between being a deli slave for two years and a waitress at a british pub for 4 months. The deli was nasty... and the pub was right next to a retirement home. I remember one lunch shift there was an England vs. Croatia football match... the whole pub filled up and I was the only server. The restaurant owner even put on an apron to help me get my food out. Sooo stressful, and not worth it for the crummy tips... Your turn!I dunno GCK, I'm a pretty good swimmer too. I might just beat you! more

Open Question: Can a lender collect on an unpaid mortgage since 2004? The state now owns the property. I checked?

I received a letter about a week ago from a finance company representing my old mortgage.Trying to collect on the home. I let the property go in 2004. But because the mortgage company was unable to sale the home they have held it as an outstanding debt of 75K since 2004 on my credit report. The property since that time went back to the state for non payment of taxes(2006). It has passed the redemption period. Do I have any rights since I don't even own the property. Besides I have no job and I'm not receiving Unemployment. I simply can't pay. more

Open Question: Why is the bank not foreclosing on my property?

I had a job transfer in a different city and left my home 2.5 years ago. It has been on the market for that long except for a small period when I rented it trying to save it. I have finally stopped paying about 16 months ago, I have had one good offer for a short sale in Oct 08 and the bank did not look at it until May of 09, and which point the buyer withdrew the offer. The bank is not even calling me and when I called and asked why is it not foreclosing they said it can take a long time. Anyone has any idea on what I can do to get the foreclosure pushed through? I am trying to move on. more

Open Question: My b/f/f's sister just started renting my condo. I had her sign a 1yr. lease. 1st mo. she paid. 2nd month No.?

My b/f/f said her sister got into it w/ her boss and quit her job and she's on the outs with her family now. Rent was due yesterday and I left her several messages but she won't return my calls. I need the rent to pay the mortgage. Her daughter said that her mom hasn't been there for 2 days. I believe she may have abandoned the condo. What do I do? Should I wait a couple weeks & if I still don't hear anything from her, can I put her belongings out and put a for sale sign up? I tried helping her cuz i felt sorry 4 her she needed an apt. Since I recently got married & moved in w/ my husband I let her rent my condo. But now seems like she is screwing me over. What do I do? Please help.Because she was my friends sister I told her only 1 mo. security deposit and she can pay me monthly on that til it's paid in full. So far I only received 1/4 of the security deposit. Isn't considered abandonment if she's not there anymore? What if there was never a lease, could I then retain my condo and get her stuff out? I still have the lease and she never got back to me w/ license plates numbers to her cars so I never got a chance to give her a copy of the lease. But i did let her take it home to review and sign it.Thank you everybody. I will put a for sale sign up and start the eviction process. But first I will wait 2 weeks if I hear anything from her. By the way, my b/f/f is still my b/f/f. I can't hold her responsible for what her sister did. She is also keeping away from all her family. My b/f/f is closer to me than her own sister. So thanks again everybody : )I live in Illinois and I know she is not on a vacation. Her daughter said she left w/ the little kids because she had a fight w/ her family because she quit her job after all the help they've given her. Like I said I will wait for a week or 2 and that's it. She is avoiding all my calls. I didn't do anything to her but help her. Even if she did take a vacation (which I know she didn't) She could at least call and say I will be late with the rent. It's clear to me that she is avoiding me and the rest of her family. Again I live in Illinois so if anybody knows the eviction process for the state of Illinois, please fill me in. Thank you in advance for all your help : ) more

Resolved Question: I'm tore between two men! Any advice?

Okay,So the first guy I dated in high school.I dont know what it was about this kid but I just couldn't keep my eyes off on him. We both lost our virginities to each other. We dated for 6 months and then we we're on and off for about 2 years. He was always very flaky. He cheated on me and never really seemed interested in romance. We worked together and He ended up getting addicted to coke and left town to fix things up. We didn't talk to often for about a year or so after that. Then He moved back into town and I found out He was going to the Air Force in Japan for 6 years. I got ahold of him to let him know that I'm proud of his decision and to wish him good luck. We've been talking ever sense. He's came and visited a few times and we've kissed and talked about the past and pretty much explained our dumb childish decisions to each other and now thats behind us. So it's been about 7 or 8 years sense we've meet so we've gone down a pretty long path. Now He's 24 and seems to be looking to settle down. We've been talking for almost a year now and he's expressed his love for me. He's said He's dated around and hasn't found anyone that loves him and makes him feel the way I do. Now He's offering I move to Japan to live with him and we start a life together. I love this man and care for him more than anything. Problem is...While he was gone I started dating someone else. We have been together for 3 years. He's wonderful. He loves everything about me from day 1 and would take a bullet for me. He saved me from bad situations and does everything in his power to make sure I'm okay. BUT... he comes with alot of baggage...like... a bunch of felonies and a messed up family of alcoholics and drug addicts. He's always in trouble with the law and spent 7 months of our time together in jail...of which I waited for him. He's addicted to drug dealing and thinks its the only way to get money. He does have a job but when things get ruff thats all He can think of...DEAL DRUGS! That's something I dont agree with because that's the whole reason He went to jail to begin with...but He doesn't listen.I can't even tell you how many times I've told him not to do something then he ends up doing it and going to jail. Now He's picked up another charge for sale and possession. We've had our outs and now we know each other from front to back. He's my best friend and my lover but I dont know if I could see myself marrying him and having children. I also dont know if I could see myself without him! opposed to the first guy...I could defiantly see starting a family with him. I'm getting to the age where I need to settle down. Guy number one seems to be going somewhere in life & my family loves him. Guy number two...not so much & my family hates him. HATES! My question is... Do I stay with my current boyfriend who doesn't seem to be progressing but I LOVE HIM! or Do I pick the guy who fcuked me over in High school, grew up and then realized He was a total ass and I don't really KNOW him anymore? Should I give him a chance? My current boyfriend seems to be trying now but from what I've noticed that only last for so long... I dont know if I could do this in and out of jail thing with him any longer. Any advice? more

Open Question: Can I file for unemployment because my commissions have dried up?

I work as a newspaper advertising sales person, this is a full time position with benefits, I get a paycheck and a w-2 each year. I am required to do some office work as well as the outside sales. My past two paychecks have been well under minimum wage for the hours worked, one was $120 for 80 hours, the next was $147 for 80 hours, both are before taxes and insurance, so my bring home was almost nothing. I am to the point that I can't afford to work at this place anymore, but there are not jobs around here. Can I file for unemployment in Oklahoma? Would I be better off quitting and filing with cause, can I file while still employed making no money. Any help would be great. Thanks more

Open Question: I am a biology major long out of a job. How do I change/start-up careers to fashion/retail?

I decided that I really could care less for sciences as my career area. My degree was earned in 2004 and I have had random jobs being a camp couselor and finally ended up with a few medical lab jobs that I hated when I worked in L.A. The whole time I dreamed of working at Barneys NY but I have no imagination in how to do so, I felt so trapped. Now I got fired from my lab jobs and feel even more trapped, I have been out of work the past 2.5 years and now want to look for jobs again. I have convinced myself I will not be happy unless I pursue jobs related to my interests. I have always wanted to work in L.A. or N.Y. cities at the retail fashion industries. What chance do I have of getting into those kinds of jobs? What does it take to get one's foot into a buyer position or even being an sales associate? more
